Both Bearclaws, the other one broke on the steerer. I’ve heard of a third but don’t know the details.

that’s good to know because the last time I looked, shimano was only replacing cranks showing signs of delamination. I’ll be contacting my lbs tomorrow

what the fuck is the fucking deal with GRX calipers and being completely horrible?

i really don’t get it but i’m about ready to swap them out for something else like hope or something, i’m losing my mind

wifebike coffee grinder, which is otherwise an excellent bike, just can’t stop squealing no matter what. i’ve even gone as far as to replace the entire goddamn motherfucking front brake system. it’s fine, and then it squeals from obvious contamination.

clean the pads, clean the rotor, it’s good for a week. let it sit for more than a week? back to squealing, time to take the pads out, sand them down, torch them, and clean the rotors with alcohol.

and this cycle repeats every week until the end of time.

do they just have some leak from the factory or something? it’s killing me, i’m going insane, and we have thrown at least $400 at this problem just in the last 6 months.

Does the bike get ridden in that timeframe, or just hang on the hook?

Could it be environmental?
