I’ve been using a yepp mini on the clydesdale and like it. You need some big swept back bars to get it to work, and maybe also a ton of setback. We put bby on the bike starting around 9mo for short rides. Our city is flat but I still need low gearing to get started from a stop on this thing, since the yepp gets in the way of any standup pedaling.

I’m happy for anybody who can get the Yepp Mini working but I had to return the one I bought. It was not compatible with my morphology

@Crustradamus I’m still not quite ready to take the plunge but I am noting that this guy just dropped his price by a bong

only con is that it is the 60. the 75 basket is not that big atmo. message the crazy person in the bad part of town lol

I think that both local ads for Load 60s are like “Whoops, spent $10k on a cargo bike and the kids outgrew it!”. So good to know that’s an actual thing and not just rich people being morons lol

here you go

my wife rides in the front of the load75 so your kids are gonna be fine. I’ll buy that cover from you since I assume rain is not a thing in Austin

More rain in Austin than Seattle

Isn’t the deal that you have a persistent low level of precipitation in a place like Seattle while ATX gets total frog stranglers every time it rains, which is not so frequently?

In any case if I buy a R&M I need the cover as it will be replacing my old CR-V lol

Yeah haha. Most of the winter here is a wet mist or drizzle with some showers that move in and out quickly. Austin has hours of storms and downpours then days or weeks of dry sun before the next storm system rolls in.

All three times I’ve been to Austin, it has poured rain. Terrible winter weather in that area.

At least the summers are hot as shit.

And there’s no in between.

They’re actually pretty close for average (within 0.14 in).
