yes
i also took the train and probably went past your other house but i don’ tknow where that is either
You sure did!
All of those answers are correct.
So what’s the best dad bike in the around $2k range? Neighbor friend is wanting to get an ebike that can be a car replacement for a little while. Has 2 little kids, both would probably need Maxi seats for a little while. He showed me some Lectric bike that looked kinda shit but I don’t think he’s trying to spend Tern money.
I keep seeing FLYER brand bikes around that look pretty cool and cheap. I know literally nothing else about them though. Radpower seems fine for most. I know several people who love theirs. And at least there’s a US company behind it.
if he’s fine with replacing parts instead of fixing things a radpower or other shit bike will work. also if there’s not really hills.
We’ve got a couple hills but nothing too serious lol. The nerd in me hates recommending Radpower because of the weird tire sizes but normies seem to like them
If they can settle for one baby seat + one seated kid then the Xtracycle Hopper looks nice. They are $2500 but seem to frequently go on sale for $1000 off
I just sent him the Hopper, shartmo it’s ugly but seems more like a real bike than a lot of the DTC bikes I see out there
What a world we could live in
Hopper gets death wobble. It’s an incredibly flexy frame and I regret ever recommending it because people don’t feel comfortable on it. The Flyer is also garbage. Low quality, bad design, bad support.
Honest recommendation at $2k is whatever Rad Power fits his needs.
I will relay this. I did see that the Radwagon 5 actually had a torque sensor now so that’s cool
Instead we have to live in a world with Charlie Kirk oh wait nevermind
have you seen me post hauling 20lb propane tanks in my bob?
Orc’s got you beat. That’s an oxygen cylinder.
