At the risk of not getting the sarcasm, “City” a a large umbrella category, under which lots of Lego sets fall that include vehicles not suited to city streets. Jungle Explorers, Space, Arctic, etc.
The box art does not show the truck in the city.

Lego city must be a horrible place considering the tons of fire trucks and police stations and cars and other law enforcement infrastructure.
Heartlake City (Friends theme) seems much nicer, and has better architecture!

We still have all my Lego. My daughter has a few Friends sets, too. Her recent addition was an Aston Martin from a white elephant this year.

Hate Friends, love those sets. I mostly built stuff like that with my Lego though I only had one or two house sets.
