yeah I get it. but like guys… even the Amish people put the triangles on the back of the buggies so they don’t get fucked up at night on the roads. does it suck we have to? yes. absolutely. am I forcing people to do it? hell no. but it helps when people can see you.

That’s a DOT regulation for slow moving vehicles, no?

it is, tractors do it too. I’ve thought about putting one on the e-bike

this just reminded me of when i was in SLC in like 2002 and they had these orange flags at the crosswalks for you to carry across the street. it seemed like a good idea but it also required that like the same number of flags be carried back and forth to even things out everywhere and also that people don’t steal the flags.
pretty sure we stole one of the flags.

I ask the question all the time. And why do some bike clothing brands only sell black rain jackets?

For people too repressed for colors.
(there are a lot)

Can you get a grab of the plate number off that? I have to be conscious to make sure I give it a beat with the GoPro

doesnt look like i easily can. Plates kind of washed out by the morning sun too. I could probably do some CSI style enhancement if i needed to.

perfecting my quick brake tap and hold technique

Called out a guy on a bikeshare bike for a dangerous pass today and then he tried to brake check me. So i let all the air out of his tire at a red light.

then i passed him walking his bike to the next dock, which was completely out of bikes!

Not entirely proud of my actions, but satisfied.
