That reminds me, did anybody ever figure out if Justin Timberlake joined the bike bus as part of his DUI community service? Never saw it mentioned anywhere but one has to assume lol…

Got hit today.
Hit and Run 3 blocks from my house on the way to work.
I stopped at stop sign, car behind me did not stop and plowed into me. I ended up sitting on the hood. Got a picture of driver, car, and plate. Pointed and said pull over so we can figure this out. driver says “You’re OK!” and pulls out while i’m filming.
bystander and i call 911, give the plates.
by the time ambulance and cops show up, they’ve already found the car using Flock cameras and he’s pulled over 15 mins away on the south side of the city. I get a ride in the squad car to ID him and then get to see him get cuffed and taken away while i get a ride back to my bike and head home.
worst part to me is that this guy probably lives in my neighborhood

It just occured to me that if the guy had stayed on the scene, he probably would have gotten away without so much as a ticket. I know they at least towed his car, in addition to getting booked.

rode my bike to the park to make myself less grumpy after work and then got yelled at by a dude in a car who turned left from the right lane on a one way and cut me off. I made a “wtf” hand gesture and he starts yelling about how I have to wait at stop signs too even though there is no stop sign there and he was the only one in the wrong. here’s a diagram for your consideration
didn’t stick around long enough to tell him he needs to go back to drivers ed.
anyways now I’m at the park and even grumpier

Not news to anybody here but it’s always so funny to me how hung up a certain kind of driver is on “cyclists rolling stop signs” when drivers by-and-large roll EVERY STOP SIGN POSSIBLE. Asides from just the failure to yield I am sure that dude had already ran 3 stops signs on his drive

craziest part was there wasn’t even a stop sign here! I feel like that guy just thought he was on a two way street with a four way stop (that he didn’t stop for either)

New person bought the house with the property line everyone cut through to get to the water authority road that goes to the reservoir.
I’m so pissed. Whole neighborhood is gonna be heated.

I get that you’re upset, but you can’t really be pissed because people actually want to protect their private property, right? How long does it take to get to that road without trespassing?

There’s an old guy here who rides on the unlit river trail every night without lights yelling at every cyclist who has lights, screaming that it is illegal to have lights on your bike
I’ve been yelling progressively more aggressive things back to him. Hoping he finally stops to talk one day.
