i’m worried about chainline…
i really have no clue about this stuff
you need a 68x109mm bottom bracket for your sugino 75’S
to get a 42mm chainline. Just check the current bb on your concept, its problably 109mm, so just use that one.
All you need now is to make sure you buy a rear hub with a 42mm chanline.
Unless you’re willing to research, calculate, and then take a chance it’s best to buy your cranks and BB as a matching set. The spec sheet should tell you exactly what the chainline will be. Benscycle sells Sugino RDs with a matching BB, IRO cranks have a matching BB, so do Alien’s, Sugino 75s, etc.
Also take into account what hubs you are using. Most track hubs have a ~42mm chainline (Formula/IRO, Joytech/Dimension), but others (Paul, Profile AFAIK) put the cog at ~45mm away from center.
any idea how much that going to cost?
also, if i bring it to a local chromer (there’s tons for car stuff here)… should i worry about the threading being coated with chrome in the bottom bracket area?
just tell them to tape off the threads… thats why im going to the place im going… they did the USA 2008 olympic bikes as well as tons of the bike builders here in Portland. peace of mind is worth the extra $$$
i heard its around $125 for one color. I’m thinking I’ll be spending around $200.

Uh… You aren’t going to technically get it chromed there. According to their website at least, they don’t have a plating line.
“As for high quality headset, if you are ready to drop the cash, a Hatta would be the way to go. They have them at Ben’s Cycles http://www.benscycle.net you need the 27.0mm JIS version. In general you need 27.0 JIS with 32-34mm stack.”
