That was brutal. Fair play to the winners though, they earned the hell out of that one.
This was the most frustrating race Iāve ever watched. Feeling so hard for all the racers.
Well that is one way to eliminate cracked hub flanges.
Loved seeing Cabirou full bar hump to clear the gap jump in the wet, slower track.
That race was so much more fun to watch that worlds. The menās race in particular had me on the edge of my seat. Cabirou is killing it too.
Glad they were able to make it to Portugal, as it didnāt appear many were confident after the last world cup 2x.
Track looks pretty proper raw. Big compressions and lots of holes and braking bumps coz so freshly cut. Kinda surprised since they had been using parts of it for testing (at least FOX) for two years.

Iām hoping Tracey gets yo go out with a win <3
Holy shit, what a world cup final
Yeah, it was pretty intense. A little rain to spice it up.
Was a bit gutted for Tracy, but no way you can say she didnāt leave it all out there.
yeah - honestly as much as i wished for her to have a great final race, i had a lot of doubts given the significance of the pedaling section. 2-3 seconds could be gained or lost just based off the watts you could put out in that 30 seconds and tracy hates pedaling.
super impressed by nina hoffman though and the time she put in at that pedaling section though. marine lost a good chunk to ninaās time through that section. i think this year is going to impact ninaās confidence as a rider as much as last year did for marine. next year is going to be a wild one with marine, nina, and vali in the mix along with tahnee, rachel, and myriam.
That pedaling section was brutal. So many people were losing time on it. Some you could tell just didnāt have it in their legs.
Forget where people were wondering about steel full sus bikes.
Anyone have any experience with the Magura MT Trail brakes? Or any Magura brakes made in the past few years? My only experience with them was working on them like 10-15 years ago when the levers would leak all over the place, because of that Iāve never rode them. The lever shape looks interesting to me as someone who likes having my levers very close to the bars. They only seem to offer organic pad compounds, but reviews seem to like them.
Or do I just buy XT for the third time in a row?
Iād probably buy TRP if I was buying new, just because Shimano has not been as bombproof as I was led to believe. And SRAM ewww.
Anyone ride TRP hydros? Doesnt @EndpointBraden like the slates? The G-spec Trail SL looks interesting
The two big draws to Magura for me are the single finger lever shape and the claimed increase in modulation over Shimano.
