he is clearly fucked, his wheel has separated from the bike and bounced off the ground and is now at eye level yet he still has his hands on the brakes.
Holy jebus what a frightening position.
Manipoo, amirite?
yep

Not too epic, and completely my fault.
Sucked that it happened in the middle of a 20% grade.
I guess I hadnât tightened the bolts properly when I built this bike a few weeks ago. It left me across the city in a wealthy neighborhood, but with a 2-3 mile walk to a bus stop. Two other cyclists stopped, but there was nothing they could do. About halfway to the bus stop, a guy in a car stopped and gave me a ride, not just to the bus, but all the way home. I am now indebted to the world. Got to find some way to pay it forward.
you must now travel the world tightening everyone chainring bolts

wasnât this some dude in San Marcos?
BIKE!
OHSHI!!!1111!
Looks like itâs been 2/3 carcked for a while. Is that yours?
de-Hincapie-tated frok!!!1
womp

What happened?
Hincapieâs steerer break was different, his broke right at the top race and was entirely the fault of the defective Chris King design. That goddamn compression o-ring will just wear a groove right into a carbon or aluminum steerer. CK has been quietly selling aftermarket top races with tapered split-rings since the Aheadset patent expired, but the cowards arenât shipping them stock that way yet (probably a collabo of jackass pride and wanting to burn through inventory).
This guy just overtightened his stem clamp.
actually, and strangely
theyâve been paying on the patent the whole time
Not sure where to put this, so file under âfuture asploded partsâ
Home-drilled TA crank fucktardery
While weâre at it, I think these are sooo sex. But would likely be asploded parts under me. I have a set of 94bcd ones I pulled b/c creaking and scary under my 210lbs.
âI HAVE NOT MADE THE HOLES, IT WAS SO!â
sold for $1.29 plus $25 shipping. Some dude was probably all âYay, I got them cheapâŚwait. What the fuck? I gotta pay $30 for that shit?â
