The flier confuses me a little. The Merckx category doesn’t go 'til last? I want to ride this, but I’m gotta be in SJ by noon for a sw8 alleycat on my fixay. I guess I can just do 5s.

yea, categories go off in the order they’re listed. no specific times since riders go off every minute and it depends on how many folks register. I can see if we can let you guys go early but be ranked against the other merckx riders though.
whats the best way to get from Sausalito to the Bolinas Ridge trailhead by bike?
looking at 1 -> Panoramic Hwy -> Pan Toll -> Ridgecrest?

Sorry I missed this. My favorite route is Mill Valley -> Old Railroad Grade -> Ridgecrest -> Bolinas Ridge -> down Randall to Rt 1 or Jewell trail to Sir Frances Drake (my preferred route on road ties). After Jewell it becomes…rough…as you enter the cow pasture. If you had taken Bolinas Fairfax road to Fairfax, which you probably rode back through, you would’ve been within a mile of our house.
We were so close to the bears! What an awesome area for riding. Anywhere near Mt. Tam was insanely trafficked after 9am, wont bother doing that again…
