Bike blerg thread

I have have exactly that from Hundreds.

Obvs can’t see the pockets, but they exist. Circa 2006ish?

What’s SmartSense I wondered, and it was not what I expected but the name makes sense.

$2,400 really gets you a tiagra bike these days huh

Honestly can’t tell if that’s a lot or a little for a Tiagra bike lol

Also @rabbi sup Don? But I guess more likely Don’s brother :frowning:

Uhh… a carbon bike with Hydro disks that were 105 3 years ago?

yeah tiagra is really cromulent these days. just not as light. probably doesn’t last as long but you know the cranks won’t blow up… i feel like the price difference was much more substantial prior to discs

It’s the carbon premium. If you’re willing to get an aluminum bike, you can do much better. This one’s about €1100 without VAT Lapierre Sensium 3.0 disc kopen? | Mantel

yeah, I would wonder what you would pay for an alu rim brake road bike with tiagra which at this point should be like 8700 right?

trek makes exactly one rim brake road bike now. its tiagra but not full tiagra. its $1030

Man, I just want my Alu CAAD 10 with Force back.
I think I sold it for 700$ and bought a shitty mattress.

They’re still out there used. Got my wife a alu synapse with 105 used for 600 recently.

Aside from weighing 2kgs more than my 7 yo (admittedly rim brake) 61cm Synapse with cages and power pedals, it looks amazing.
