Yeah, agreed. I’m replacing the original wheels of my Vaya from 2013 with DT Swiss HX 491’s and for barely 50g more per wheel they’re rated for 20kg more load. They even have a more durable finish. Lots of improvement in over a decade!

I’ve had some friends do photo shoots for things and I’m always surprised by the amount of “well, it’s what we’ve got so make it work” that goes on when they are taking pictures to represent something they want to sell. Even for higher end stuff.
This is it for me too - the DT design is easier to deal with, works without pompous tools or noise. For bottom brackets, I own both Wheels WFG angular and CK and would just go Wheels next time. For headset, the Wolf Tooth premium is all I’d ever need. The rest just caught up to CK in recent years.

Yeah… that would be good. Honestly, I suspect if you remove the bolt wipe away any excess powder from dried threaklocker and reinstall you’ll be golden. From what I gather Sram will just be sending out new bolt kits.
