I can help myself. Trolling r/xbiking by stating that a shitty 1980s rockhopper is better than any Rivendell you can buy in December 2023
I’ve got a lot of notifications but I’m not looking until tomorrow

Yoooooo need more info on this 3d printed direct mount square taper crank
another thread today announcing the passing of a moderator. this reply is crazy
I turn forty in a few days. Not looking forward to more people vanishing from track permanently
it’s petersen
He might search his name?
I gotchu. It’ll be 4pc lightweight chromo with a 3bolt sram direct mount spline and will use the modern, wider chainline standard.
I like how VO makes the sensible and smart retro/modern adaptations while other brands just slap a quill stem on a disc frame. I guess that other company is popular too, but with VO people nod and understand, instead of thinking wtf
There is definitely an inferior way or two to spell “Peterson”
Have these passed the “rider of substance” test yet
not yet. the samps we made at the office are just plastic - testing for clearances and viability which passed. We’ve been in contact with a good bmx crank manu in Taiwan that makes stuff for well-respected brands and it seems very promising. And they are next door to the manu that makes our Klunker bars which feature many fancy butts that you’ll never see.
I’m very into this!!
Oh duh, for some reason I thought you they were actually intended to ride with lol

600mm chainstays are fun
Grant Petersen did nothing wrong
Long chainstays = good?
Paging Jeff Jones, doing flatlander shenanigans with a 1200mm wheelbase
TUKT vs LAWNG
There are two types of people in this world…
Sounds like a challenge right there
I wanna see Igor’s fancy butt
