I like how VO makes the sensible and smart retro/modern adaptations while other brands just slap a quill stem on a disc frame. I guess that other company is popular too, but with VO people nod and understand, instead of thinking wtf

Have these passed the “rider of substance” test yet

not yet. the samps we made at the office are just plastic - testing for clearances and viability which passed. We’ve been in contact with a good bmx crank manu in Taiwan that makes stuff for well-respected brands and it seems very promising. And they are next door to the manu that makes our Klunker bars which feature many fancy butts that you’ll never see.
