Kind of like a Sheldon Brown who perhaps has been concussed several dozen times?

love that avalanche is still doing the thing
bad websites are pretty common in the niche suspension game. just sent a customer’s brain shock here: https://risseracing.com/
It looks bad but is also chock full of granular info.
I was about to ship a shock to Fox but I think I’m gonna send it to them for a tune.
Called the suspension shop the other day. Spoke to one of the owners briefly. I just asked him if the site was the best place to put in an order but he insisted on having a chat about what I want out of the shock. Sent in the order yesterday and a woman with the last name Rude replied with a confirmation (Note this shop is in CT). Feels like I just got another scout badge in the world of bike nerdery.
I got this feeling when I found out who the right person to email at PWC about dynamo orders was.
Just don’t call and talk to his wife!
The ol’ “send half of your cc info in one email and the other half in another” trick!
linda is impossibly soft spoken. worthy of seinfeld descriptors
peter verdont linked this blog post today while quoting teddy roosevelt:
so if anyone asks you “god whats your problem with peter verdone?” you can just copy/paste from here.
God that guy sucks so much ass
for real. what an unpleasant dude
“Q: I have an opinion about bike geometry.
A: You fucking ass. If I had a dollar for every knob that said this without ever having sat down and drawn a bike I’d be a millionaire. Take you’re long, low, slack horseshit and shove it up your ass.”
lol.
For a long time I was a certain type of critic. I was fighting the fights. I would argue my points. I may have been mostly correct.
A broken handlebar labeled “I may have been mostly correct”
Survived most of the rides it went on
All but one
i think the term is directionally incorrect
Most of his bars mostly survived
‘attritionally challenged’
Trading Places except it’s Jan and PVD
