the Red E1 levers are
hoping they will trickle that shape down to other levels sooner than later
I gave up on my THL the other day and threw an old X9 clutched 10 speed dangler on my rarely used plastic roadie. I have a lovely X0 variant too, currently on wifes ebike, but its wasted there.
I haven’t been paying attention. Do they have shift plates for X-actuation yet?
Details are pretty hard to find on that stuff. @igor is more likely to know than anyone as he was hooking up with their rep at MADE, I believe.
I don’t know all the details for what is and isn’t available at this moment. My time was mainly spent helping convince them to get them into production for stateside distribution rather than making sure every indexing plate is absolutely perfect.
I feel like its a massive amount of combinations theyd have to come up with, just thinking about 12 speed variations, even within one ecosystem like sram.
Anyone got any insight on whatever redundant or useless things surly is announcing on 9/3?
Better than a vomit emoji at least
i dont know whats appropriate regarding embargos, especially when it feels like every shop employee knows about it.
its the new moonlander and its very different than the old moonlander, and itll make you go “oh this is interesting and i’ll never buy one.”
I have an og moonlander that I want to bafang but I can’t convince myself that my naive brazing repair of the cracked brake bridge will hold.
Spicy
Maybe it’s an ebike
The overlapping venn diagrams of “people who want a surly fatbike” and “people who really care about a gearbox on their bike” must be so small
there’s dozen I tell you! dozen!
german made mini automatic car transmission that sits on a proprietary BB shell and needs to be mailed to Deutschland for servicing seems like my personal nightmare of a bike component - weird choice for a 45 pound bike designed to get Wisconsin-man to the bar .
got my mitts on a pair of these and I’m itching to get them on a bike; i’m stuck in Vietnam babysitting an assembly line for the next week tho
