Paul Sadoff not impressed with PVD
The guy in the polka-dot kit was everywhere and was pretty crazy on the bike ride, taking reckless chances on the bike without a helmet. I’m amazed that he survived the ride and the show.

Saturday started out just as slow as Friday and I began to wonder about the health of this show until about noon when all of a sudden the people showed up and the entire venue filled to capacity.
Everyone was standing in line for brunch.
I love the idea of never referring to PVD by name again

Where in Prolly claims he was the first to … use a stick to prop up a bike and photoshop it out for the floating bike effect.

What a novice. I hung one of mine off a clothes line 20 years ago and twinked out the rope on the negative and hand coloured it.

I remember a letter in BMX Plus! asking how they took photos of the bikes without stands. They responded, “Someone holds it and jumps out of frame before we take the picture.”

I think that comes from my experience of being an architect. The front door is always in the middle of the front of the house and the big chainring is like the front door so that’s where I want to draw the eye…”
