Steelman has a couple interesting incidents tied to his brand. There was a bicycle-based bank robber who ended up getting caught because he had to ditch his Steelman after a robbery and the cops tracked him down because of the unique bike.
Sometime in the 1990s one of his sponsored riders - Don Myrah - filed a lawsuit (or was going to file) against him because the ultra-light steer tube on his Steelman MTB failed during an event. I couldn’t find any info on this case online but it was published in Bicycle Guide or wherever back then.

I watch a bit of Bikefarmer. I like his ride videos and swap meet stuff, some of the regular videos get a bit samey and I’m not sure if I’ll keep watching in future. Sometimes it’s nice to just watch someone struggle with fixing bikes for an hour.

Flyscout Ryder but probably gonna unsub because the car noise in his videos aggravates my tinnitus.
I was subbed to and watched BikeFarmer a lot. He’s kind on ornery and surly in ways I appreciate but he had a couple of videos not that long ago involving a bike with a hollowtech crank and he just botched it and then botched the fix after the commenters got on him after the first botch.

I kinda like putting some Tim Fitzwater on every once in a while because he rides a lot but seems like a DICKIW. Overall has a pretty good perspective, no marketing as far as I can see, he does mention the Nutmeg Noreaster a little too often tho
