Tempted to buy it for beach runs in the summer. I need another bag like a hole in the head tho.
$10 rack + loler bag will be perfect on the tandem for carrying beers and snax.
Got my loler bag in the mail, price seems to keep going up so if anyone’s on the fence here are some pix.
And 16oz Zojirushi for size comparison
Attaches pretty securely on four corners, as well as two places along the back. Wouldn’t be the most convenient thing to pull on and off every time you went in a store but would be easy enough to bring to the beach as a cooler then snap back on the bike for the ride home.
Not pictured: internal dividers for lenses/cameras, nice to have but pulling it out cut some weight.
[quote=JUGE FREDD]oh shit guys they make the PERFECT front rack for $10

It’s a lot lighter than I expected. No light mount which is a bummer but I’ll figure something out.
nitto m12 is listed as 250g for comparison
I just ordered one of thems. If I can’t make it work on either of my bikes, I’ll pick up an old mountain bike frame to put it on.
Curious if that would clear a 700
I’m about to learn in a week or so.
I kind of doubt it, but I ain’t afraid to try for $10
Held it up to my steamroller, looks like it would work on a 700c, but regardless of wheel size it needs to mount on brazeons forward of the front axle, not behind it, to be level.
It’s one of those racks that goes down to the deroputs, right?
Also 26x2.0 is a 700cx18 high, so it should clear mostly OK.
this thread answers, then asks, then answers the hard hitting questions. bear bless.
Also if anyone can figure out a good way to mount a dynamo light to this thing, help me out.

Solid answer.
Goal #1 would be to fit it on my old Trek running 32’s and fenders. But I think the biggest issue there is that I may have issues fitting the brake, the fender, and the rack mount in the same general area. The brakes are already pinching the fender onto the tire when I use 'em.
If that don’t work, I’ll try it on the Cross Check. If that don’t work, I’ll probably just take it to 2nd Cycle and let them keep it.
I’ve got a non-dynamo light mounted to my shitty rack using a couple washers, a P-clamp, and a small bolt.
No pictures, sorry.
Arcteryx Haku Rope Bag. The idea here is that you chuck your rope on the tarp, which is sewn into the lip of the bag, and then you pick up the four corners of the tarp and the rope slides right into the bag. I don’t own any rope, but I do own other stuff, and I have used the tarp feature twice as a picanic blanket, yogi. Or to get changed on when camping in the snow.
I like it as a basket bag, it straps in by itself and it holds a lot of stuff since you can compress whatever’s inside. I usually hold a change of clothes. It’s not waterproof but it is waterproof-ish. Also, OD.
Not that cheap, but I found mine on ebay for $30 which is fine. At least you get pretty good quality from overpriced-as-shit Arcteryx.
$70 list for a rope bag? Metolius makes solid rope bags for half that, and you can get a tarp for $5 or a blue IKEA bag for $1.
2 of my 3 ropes live in ikea bags.
tarck aint paying no $30 for a rope bag to go in a basket
welcome to $20 LOLER bag land

I wouldn’t pay $70. But it’s a nice bag. I could buy a wal-mart bike but I’d rather use a nice one.
But yeah, that now $45 LOLER bag makes everything else look pretty bad
