Bike parts that don't exist and we wish they did, but actually they do exist as not-bike parts

Oshit, purchased

edit: having some remorse already have the cheap target version of this but this thing should still be cool (get it?)

Great find, consumed. I need to stay out of these threads, stop making me buy all the things tarck

[quote=johnasavoia]Don’t know how good this is or how long it will stay this cheap, but boxy rando/porteur bag for $30 can’t be all wrong?

I hate that company but occasionally they make the perfect coleman/walmart product the world was missing

and at 69% off, the price actually matches expectations for quality

I bought that thing cuz fuckit.

does it say “POLER” on the bag somewhere? can someone please make it say “LOLER”

Already forgot what I was looking up when I found it. Lollin in advance of the page in PYB where its on like 6 bikes, including mine.

im gonna feel so left out when i just use the old military molle bag we all tarck’d a few months ago

You were looking up porteur racks because it is still in the search bar.
Also consumed.

???

I wouldn’t trust a $39 front rack. I like my teeth.

yup that rack looks especially dubious.
the slotted attachment of the stays to the platform look like a recipie for self loosening fasteners, and that’s before tarck’s well know preference for reacharounds is taken into account

Urban bro.

all the $120 production racks have extremely dubious shit too

at least this one doesn’t have extra-wobbly dropout attachment where triangulation can’t save you

flatpack does wonders for the price, those slotted attachment points also keep it from being installed with stress risers and misalignment

having the legs placed that narrowly is a major bummer, though I like the cleverness of having the standoffs be the bent ends of the interior rails

I don’t know why they laid it out to hold a 12-pack in portrait instead of landscape, which would’ve fixed the narrow leg stance too

I’d fux with it but would make my fork crown strap out of 1/8" steel

oh shit guys they make the PERFECT front rack for $10

If I wasn’t convinced this thing weighs like 2lbs I would be all over it… on second thought for that price? Might as well.

edit: shipping is free, and yes, of course, purecycles accepts bitcoin

About to consume that poler bag as my home-made one is not giving me all of it but can someone link me to the molle one from a while ago or point me in the right direction of where to look before I pull the trigger?
