Peter Verdone Designs treated?
are there really hordes of downhillbros that see “super expensive bolts that require special grease and are even more torque-sensitive” and really want in?
If I was going to start a business, I’d sell something for everyone.
In my experience the bike park consumer people are not capable of this level of focus, no. The actual pro racers… some of them maybe? They’re just as odd as every other category of bike racer.
this feels a lot like the companies that used to sell car “racing” products to people who only took their cars to shows.
I recently needed a bolt to attach a light and a fender to the for crown on my new bike. The crown was deep enough that I needed a 60mm long bolt. I also wanted it to be M6 because why not. Home Depot had a bolt that worked but it was one of those black coated ones that rusts the first time it gets wet so I ended up having to spend $9 or whatever buying a bag of stainless socket head bolts off Amazon. If I could have spent that same money for one bolt in a cool color I might have?.. Idk they don’t sell any bolts that long so it’s a moot point I suppose
boltdepot.com is your friend.
