I’ve taken an Edgerunner onto a gentle mtb skills park course. It was going great until I hit the teeter totter. DID YOU KNOW that longtails have a slightly different center of gravity than other bikes?
It slammed down with like, an inch to spare before the front wheel would have Free Willied itself off the end of the ramp.

Never did any park stuff but singletrack on a xtra was so much fun, as long as turns weren’t too tight it was an absolute blast.

A new bucket-list trail for me.
Will breath some life into a part of the country that is typically involved in pretty extractive businesses like mining or logging. Lots of gratuitous shots of exploding native flora. Don’t feel bad if you cant understand what they are saying, neither can I, but there is some cool footage in there. It’s a bit high on the “blokey” scale. I’m keen to get down there tho. I’m not sure when it officially opens, but a bit like “The Old Ghost Road”, not the kind of ride you would do without checking the weather forecast.

Watching that road building exercise I kept thinking to myself: Well, that sucks about the blowing up and washing out maybe you should consider building a road somewhere else?

And yes I used road intentionally.
