thinkin about trying the oddysey 13t freewheel if my 15 goes bad
also microdrive means new bike, assuming there’s no 3/8" microdrive hubs. but don’t tempt me and post links to them if they exist.
i ride a stock mirraco blend2.

<3microdrive. I’m 30x9, which was relatively hard to push until I got the 8"x28" bars. Considering grabbing a 27t or 28t sprocket soon.
Much better investment (1up the stock fit sprocket) than one of them newfangled pivotal saddle jawns, I def don’t need to shave weight at my level or after I got the new bars.
also on plastic pedals, I’m a fan, but I’m a light guy and I don’t really go past the four set often due to most decent stairsets around here being sub-four or six-plus.
starting to enjoy riding my bmx now that injuries are healing. i just want to get rid of the 48spoke triple walled primo boat anchors and downsize the bars. 8 x 28 feel just huge. on the plus side for the wheels…i have like 15 spokes that are so loose you can turn the nipples with your fingers, and theyre true as all hell.
mine came stock with a pivotal, its nice.

i was afraid of this. must hold back and save up for road racing bike for next summer
weekend coming up = hells of riding
I’ve heard good things about the oddysey civilian bars. a lifetime warranty doesn’t hurt either. though i’ll probably never need it.
also: 90 psi folding tires rock
edit: fix quote
the height I’m totally digging, the width is a bit crazy.
nothing wrong with cutting your bars.
first piece to brake. at least i know what was making the squeaking noise.
took this pic while i was at it
you broke your headset? if it’s press fit, get a solid.
yeah it’s a press fit.
and by solid, you mean this?
http://goodsbmx.com/solidheadset.aspx
yeah, it is probably the best press fit headset ever made for bmx. there are people who don’t want an integrated headtube so they can keep using their solid headset.

I scoped it out for non bmx applications it is so awesome.
what should i get? a 21" top tube 20" bmx bike? or a 24" wheel cruiser?
