That was sort of my joke. Like, we may look like idiots here, but that’s because we save all our agility for the mountains. But I guess it would only really work if we all wore messenger bags the whole time.

dammit, I guess I have to get down with this thing now. I’m living in Iowa City and looking down my nose at the weirdos on fatbikes with aerobars and 50 pounds of luggage. Guess I better wise up.
Let’s see what the route is. I would totally be into pirate flag patches. I recall a few years ago a pretty decent CX team I was on put Slayer patches on our skinsuits to cover up a former sponsor. Who am I to blow against the wind?

Definitely want some in a vehicle to grab tent spots. Maybe it’s me, but the most fun I’ve had so far it’s napping in my tent, but there’s music every night.

If you want to practice crowd slaloming it’s a pretty good place.

Sooo I just found out that the July 2020 conference I was concerned about will be from July 9-13 in Chicago. Would be a helluva couple weeks to do that and TarckBRAI but it looks like it could happen!
