China Carbon

That would look great with a beer can painted onto the head tube

appears to have a dropped stay but not as dramatic as open

VB carbon fiber MTB fork 27.5er plus,Carbon Fiber Fork (velobuildmall.com)

anyone got thoughts?

was all in on ordering the DIY but found comments upthread pushing VB for a lot less money - the price is absolutely not a consideration

As long as you’re not doing any 5 ft drops on a full carbon rork, either should be fine. It looks like they are coming out of the same mold.

The one time I got a cheap carbon fork (origin 8), I regretted it.

It didn’t break, but it was flimsy and so rode terribly. Incredible brake chatter too.

got the Ali 370s in, they did not send the blank hubs I requested so the stickers will be needed. haven’t compared with the laced 350s yet but they look and feel nice

the shell isn’t curved though, so stickers should fit fine!

curious if you can try swapping endcaps or freehubs with your laced DT350

oooohhh i was gonna get the ones with the dt swiss style graphics. these look great tho and i think the ones i looked at were limited to 6b. got a link?

Is this where I ask if any others with a 696 has had better experience with rear shifting?

Eyeballing tue DS chainstay, it seems like the internal cable can’t get there in a straight line…?

Had anyone run full housing to the RD?

these are J bend, CL, 28h with options for TA and QR

dang no 100x12? i might need to write them

there’s a different product listing for the road version that has 100x12; I needed the mountain version for my v2 CG that’s 100/135

these seem promising. still DT-looking parts, but no weird drillium on the freehub body. i’ve been waffling on ordering some. there are options for 135/142 and 148 in separate listings from the same seller.

I always want to, but then I wonder how the batteries would fare in the winter…
