I don’t think I was on a deer island but there were deer chilling in this town and people doing as above to them. I also went to a rabbit island.

I always wondered if one could make a cheapo travel frame from one of those. Replace the rear shock with a rigid spacer. In that process you could adjust BB height and ST/HT angles to work with whatever rigid fork you choose to dial geometry.
