Cool. Cargo bike history.
I’m glad those aren’t local to me or else I might get myself in trouble.

Same. Now that I’ve electrified my one cargo bike I’m dreaming of a non electrified one again.

Man when had all the time in the world and a lot of stress to work out, pedaling a cargo bike around was amazing. I’m happy to have the assist now since I don’t have time to putz around everywhere at 9.6 mph but it is a weirdly rewarding experience. Gotta settle for LHT grocery rides to get the old feels back.

It’s kind of terrifying to imagine a grocery store run that’s long enough where 10mph & 15mph makes a significant difference, unless you’re (and by you I mean me) taking the scenic route there

Definitely talking about bonus miles but I’ve never found the ebike got me places around town significantly faster, you just get there with a lot less effort. And when your errand time is your exercise time it gets complicated…

I can’t wait to have free time to ride bonus miles again

is $1400 really the going rate for gt gtb frames these days?

i sold mine for like $5 or 600 in…2010.

I want this but I’d need to get rid of my Lemond first…actively trying to shed my dead-ender stuff
