One friend dallied and missed the frame and wheels but got the outdoor setting. Later found out another friend raced out the door and got them.
Downside, they’re tubular.

What the heck? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fork with all three of:
- 700x40 clearance
- caliper rim brake
- carbon

40 clearance as long as you don’t inflate the tire

I should probably replace my old alu crown carbon dead ender fork, it’s probably fine but could also be a ticking time bomb
aha, you’re right that it’s probably 40mm of space, and not really room for a 40mm tire + clearance.
