Usually hear of a couple a year. I’ve had one hop alongside me for a few hundred metres not far from my house, and I live in suburbia. Also had a fox in my street one morning, and had 8 actual deer cross the road in front of me at speed about 30km from home.
tl;dr - lots of wildlife on prison island, even in the city.
Oh, and shitloads of rabbits on my commute. Makes me nervous. A hare went through my mate’s front wheel once and got caught between wheel and fork. Skinned its back nicely. Dunno how he stayed upright, we were doing about 40kmh.
Damn that tail whip to bring the feet into alignment for kickin.

I’ll never drink the Rapha Elite Barrel Aged KoolAid, but that looks pretty clever. I’ll wait for someone else to point out there’s already a cheaper version for regular people that aren’t ruggedly hand$$$ome.
Well the half-bag thing is pretty common among alpine hikers and other ultralight nerds, but if anything Rapha’s version is probably the cheapest. Everything else is fairly boilerplate.
