yeah i got one of those and also a Sugino AT as well but both are on other bikes

Ox901d if you’re feeling flush & want to bling, shimano if you want a weird 4-arm jawn, or something from sram or fsa if you want just a compact double

I’m gonna addendum that with an “Avoid FSA at all costs”

FSA: Fucking Shitty Ass

perfect for this application

I’ve got one of the FSA 3-arm thingies on my sweet fixie and it’s been fine. (But it was $20 from ebay because nobody in the world wanted cranksets with a 3-arm design with a wonky pcd, so take “fine” with however many grains of salt you might want.)

That seems reasonable. Fucking shitty ass rings shift like the namesake though.

Oh, right, the chainrings are fairly feeble offerings, but it’s been so long since I’ve used the chainrings that come with my cranksets (except that one) that I tend to forget it.

Or Shimano FC-CX50?

46/36

I floated that to @drwelby, but its 110 BCD means 36T is the nerdiest one can get.

Don’t you mean 33T?

My mistake. The smallest Shimano is a 34, because I have one, too.

Who makes a 33? One of the oval rings?

Specialites T.A. Zephyr 33T

I bought the RS-500 11 speed 36-46 for $77 from a random homegoods seller at Uncle Jeff’s Bazaar

I just might do this.
I hate bikes.

Mr bezos has the rs500 and the cx50 for $120 each. eBay has em for $65

don’t forget about the doval rings that iirc nobody here decided to actually try. 46/30 on a 110 crank via some clever fuckery. like $70 for the set

I’m not convinced I need that but maybe for my Gunnar.

Cx50 or rs500. Is one better than the other?
