Dammit: Post your bike

or install a Technomic for that sweet double bar action

I have a fork or 2 that’ll work, but I never ship anything. When are you back in California?

I thought my bike looked good in the sun the other day

I rode a normal bike today. It felt VERY STRANGE after exclusively riding a Bullitt for a month.

Long time no tarck

I think I like riding bikes unloaded

Got this bike today. The ebay seller cleaned this immaculately. Never bought anything off Ebay this clean and gone through.

Didn’t realize its friction shifting! Holy shit. The bars are only 38cm. Dont think that’s going to work.

Cool little nubbin.
The frame still has the original sticker from a shop in Milwaukee. Kinda cool. Just realized the front brake nut is recessed but the rear isn’t. Hmm.

damn that is incredible

What is the current tarck pick for 700x28 road tire that won’t break the bank? I would fall back on paselas but I’m sure you guys would have a better pick. <50$ each.
It has steel bead luganos on it now. Yuck
Probably end up putting 42cm soma hwy 1s or velo orange shallow drops. Any preferences there?

These guys?

Maybe Roubaix Pro or Roubaix Pro Tubeless if you think you can squeak a 30.

The Roubaix is a great tire.
I also used a 28mm spesh turbo(I think) that was great.
Also the Schwalbe One is great in any size atmo. The 38mm G-One Speeds I have are some of the best tires I’ve ever ridden as are the 25mm Pro Ones.

that’s pretty straightforward to handle if you buy two fronts

True but I’m not going to start buying stuff like that for this bike. It’s original plus I am doing minimal dithering.
I’m pretty sure I have cut the bolt short before on a bike. Not sure I want to bother. Probably just leave it.
Fun fact. I checked the catalog scans for this year and many of the bikes pictured have recessed front and nutted rear.
