I can compromise: upright townie bikes can claim the “grand tour bikes” term.

What about non upright townie bikes? All my hybrids have saddle to bar drop.

My only bike with any saddle to bar drop is my Clydesdale GT. That bike has a short ass head tube and a high ass bottom biscuit.

i’m thinking gs and sgs

An old buddy of mine got into FGXC back in the early 2000s, it seemed like Type 5 Fun

i borked the chain during the test ride so don’t look too close, but i figured it could stand up for a photo anyways:

i still need to finish rewiring the lights and i’m probably going to switch out the seatpost once that is done, but it’s pretty complete.

Love that stem.

that bike is so damn cool.

while i’m sure this is a combo of having those parts and not really wanting to cut the steerer, i appreciate keeping the spirit of the nitto jag/riser bar aesthetic alive. always thought flat bars were ugly anyway

It’s the bike of someone who knows exactly what the want out of a bike.

Kinda curious if you’re using a steer limiter/lockout along with the one legged kickstand
