well i seem to have neglected to note that the rims i ordered are 28h and the hubs i would lace to are 32h. so i guess iām gonna buy some dt swiss aliexpress knockoffs and be that guyā¦ for science

do like a Bora style interlock and skip pattern? wait whatās the lowest common denominator of 7 and 8 , I guess use that many spokes in total? Just one bigass spoke?

bloody hell, even with shipping I can get 4 rims for 100 Prison Island dollarydoos apiece. I really donāt need this sort of temptation in my life.

Q&A on one of the rim brake 700c rim pages said 17mm.
For a minute I also ordered some rims with not enough spoke holes. Didnāt see any 32h 700c rim brak so skipped out.

Womp womp. Too narrow to sub in for proper 29er rims.
thatās mostly for mixing 24h and 36h parts, unless you have some 42h hubs you might have to get real creative to use Damon Rinardās trigonometry to mismatch 28h rims by skipping holes
triplet spoking is also hard to make add up, thatās normally for a 32h hub laced 16+8 into a 24h rim, with center-drilled spoke holes that are now uncommon in carbon
