DEALS DEALS DEALS

Y’all seen 29er mtb rims in the 30mm ish inner widthway on there?

Ok I bought those 27.5s. $86 dolarbucks with the code.

Searching for “qpup” brings up all of them I think. Search based on item code.

Anything 29 x modern seems to be $300. Deadenders ftw!

I have no idea what I just bought but it’s two carbon rims for $70.

Are you sure it’s not:

wheelsize - depth - [XC or AM] - spoke count - [AS for asym]?

For the road rims the second number seems to be the depth, but for the mountain (cough gravel cough) it’s definitely the width. The 31s linked above are 31 wide by 24 deep.

You’re a bad influence, bidet.chat. But my wife’s getting an upgraded gravel wheelset.

I wonder what the total cost of tarck-inspired impulse buys has been over the years.

From one of the answers on that RD rim:

Not tubeless compatible

I mean it could be, but not officially etc

That falls squarely into the category of “math we will not do”.

wow I gotta buy a pair of these huh

wish they had 32h in 23mm inner widthway

Are they all hookless?

Of course everyone on the forum buys these after countless threads about carbon rim quality

I just got notification that they are canceling the order.

oh no!

Oh goddamnit. How does a non tubeless carbon clincher even exist in the world???
Guess that’s why they’re fifty bucks.

Not gonna lie I was tempted to buy a set of rims for the winter bike but thankfully building wheels isn’t fun enough anymore atmo to follow through.

The mountain versions are tubeless for sure

Their built up road wheelset here Pub PC36 - 100QR/130QR HG 700c Road Wheelset | Pub Wheels

says tubeless compatible, so random commenter might be referring to hookless not getting along with all tubeless tires
