If I didn’t already have a 6” chainsaw, that’s a hell of a deal. Might grab the jigsaw because I need the batteries and I don’t have a jigsaw.
Yeah the 4ah batteries on the ryobi stuff are so worth it. Now I just need to decide which tool, gonna wrap this all into the treehouse budget.
Cordless grease gun!
I don’t understand a cordless pressure washer. it’s not like you have a cordless water hose also
Not to give a serious answer to your joke post, but there are places with hose bibs and no power nearby.
is the pump in a pressure washer strong enough to suck water out of a tank or a pool?
ugh i would have smanged that 1/2” impact if it wasn’t oos
i have the little ryobi baby washer and that thing is AMAZING. we use it at cross races when all you need is a bucket and water source, but the water source may not be anywhere near your setup OR you don’t want to monopolize it by connecting straight to it.
this is not a deal, but did y’all know that there’s a fucking ryobi one+ hot glue gun? because I didn’t before yesterday and now I own one. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-Full-Size-Glue-Gun-Kit-with-1-5-Ah-Battery-18V-Charger-and-3-1-2-in-Glue-Sticks-P305K1/316308584
yep. lots of folks have bought battery adaptors to use their ketchup and mustard batteries with it because not many others offer a cordless hot glue gun and it’s the only thing many want from the bright green tool co.
i may get the ryobi kit with trim router as i plan to gradually not buy more makita stuff. the stuff is great but for the amount i end up using my tools it it’s hard for me to justify $160+ on a nice to have cordless circ saw or trim router when i only have two batteries and the ryobi is like half that. the hp+ stuff seems really nice other than the slightly chunky handle. but again, i don’t hold them that often. and i really want a cordless trim router
Damn the chainsaw is sold out. Tough choices.
Impact is back
oh shii
Tempted to get a blower after riding some trails that could really use a clearing.
Was gonna say do another order with a chainsaw and be ready for trailwork galore, but couldn’t get any chainsaws to be free.
The 6” chainsaw shows up for me and looks still in stock
What do I need the impact for? Just lug nuts?
Okay, I was looking for more than the branch trimmer.
edit: is it just the things in the second photo? Really hard if they don’t link or list the other items that work with this deal.
I have circular, drill, recipricating 18v dewalt, but all the batteries are pretty shit. Really should just go 20v and get the adaptor plate things for the 20v.
Or could make switch to more fun color that matches my tool chest. Also killed and left blower in PA.
For cordless circular saws I can’t say enough good things about my 60V dewalt circular saw. I’m pretty positive it’s more powerful than the corded Skil brand one it replaced. Uses the same flex volt battery as my leaf blower.
it is almost certainty more powerful. for some reason i struggle to explain you can get more out of a 20v than you can out of the ol’ wall spaghetti. the flexvolt stuff kicks hard as hell
I’m not super well versed on electricity but as I understand it, amperage is like torque. The less voltage you’re working with, the more amperage you’re gonna be pulling. That plus fancy new brushless motors prolly does a lot.
Power is amps x volts. The wall stuff usually maxes out at 120V and 14A = 1680 watts. Batteries usually will be less than this but some of the higher voltage systems can exceed this, mostly because they can handle more amperage because even the high voltage batteries are less than 120V
