Pretty sure. I’ve got a Works Components angleset on a 2016 Niner Rip9 right now.

Nah, looks like your RIP9 has a ZS headset while the Air9s have integrated (IS) headsets.
Good that niner published that spec guide in case they went out of business
9point8 has one that increases the headtube length with a sleeve. You’d be looking at > 1deg of slackening.
