DEALS DEALS DEALS

Killer. I bought that hub like 3 months ago from Germany for an extra $75 or so. Still haven’t built the wheel :frowning:

Good deal on flat pedals from cop bike co (although these are branded Bontrager).

perfectly cromulent. been running a pair on the clydesdale for a while

Yup. I ordered two pairs.

I’m about to put a pair of those pedals in the trash cuz they started creaking. Bushing worn out I think. They were good when I had a buddy at the trek store to throw them in the trash for me and give me a working pair.

i put a pair on to replace some chesters to deal with some creaking. turns out the problem was my chain was beyond fucked, but the cop pedals haven’t made anything worse in two years. pleasant to step on, too

Anyone have a code for the soma sale?

MTBR says overstockextreme24
I haven’t tried/gotten to work

I also demolished two “mountain biking”. I def used to ride a bit undersprung and smashed them on rocks. I actually run the metal version on my main bike though I took a liking to the plastic one up pedals that I think @amy recommended when I was in Austria with my smaller bike and those pedals. I think the plastics actually keep my feet on the pedals better.

Anyway, anyone ever try these?

The bontys are out of stock but I’m willing to give something new a try when it is only $30

Their FB page said commercial orders only I thought

I hate ethirteen so don’t buy them
they might be great pedals and i don’t care

so use my work email. check.

If anyone needs some bling for their toolbox, the fancy 1/4" gold ratchet is on sale at Harbor Freight:

All the pros closet stuff is being auctioned off.
It’s local pick up only, but if it’s not huge i could probably ship.

Sorry that link is to a specific page and i can’t easily skip to page 1 as far as i can see.

Going through all the items this morning and damn there is a lot of stuff. Need enough furniture (minus a bed) to move out? Need 600m of 11-speed bulk chain? Need a pallet or two of 29" tubes? TPC auction got you covered.

I wonder what the reserves are set to on some of those items. Those EVT EZ-Lift repair stands with bases start at 3 bongs brand new and they have FOURTY-ONE of them (omg). That’s like 125 bongs in repair stands alone, not including the cost of the Bora mobile bases that some of them have.

my partner is hoping to bid on an EVT stand so I’ll keep you posted! we also might get a workbench and maybe a standing desk… kind of great timing since we are, in fact, moving out at the end of the month

Good luck!

Reading their reserve info, it says the reserve price is often the opening bid, but this doesn’t sound comforting:

if there is still a gap between the highest bid and the seller’s minimum acceptable sale price, LocalAuctions.com may counterbid on the seller’s behalf, using one or more bidder numbers, until the item or lot has reached a bid amount acceptable to the seller.

I read that too. it seems very shady… just gotta make sure we don’t get caught up in the bidding war. they also add an 18% premium to your final bidding price!

what better time to put in a full size bike wash station than right when you move in?
