glad I bought all 7 of these remaining at $10 each Machines For Freedom Foundations Boy Short 5.5" Wmn Blk S | eBay

but this was extremely vanity sized, actual waistband is 34" before stretch where 30.5" would be normal for a 29 in athletic clothing Machines For Freedom Key Short 5.5 Wmn Watermelon 29 | eBay

Those look kinda cool. Might have to grab one.

incycle was probably one of the first, at least on the west coast. Many of the sites of owned retail used to direct to something related to them in a somewhat weird way.

Did you get a sweet pair of these pre-owned bibs?

Isn’t that because it is for people with actual hips?

Thats @feta_lightning

Damn should have asked for a better deal

I thought the chain was a relatively recent acquisition but I could be wrong. I know they’ve been dipping into owned retail for a while now though, the shop I was had been fully owned since 2012 before transitioning to full S branding in 2018.

Oh, I think our shop in central PA was bought out in 21 or early 22. Still same name now. But i know their website redirected to incycle pretty quickly. So maybe they were early in that bigger swallow up as S tried to catch up to T. But at least kept names and sorta could sell other brands. I was surprised when they didn’t immediately clearance out the giant and cannondale stuff we had. But they set up some tent sales where they would drive bikes and gear from philly and NJ to clear some of it out. People def got good deals then.

The LBS ecosystem is definitely more confusing now. I think they still draw a distinction between S-only “concept stores” and “owned retail,” but who knows.

surly skid loader is $2999 for a complete currently

not sure how to actually buy it. maybe contact a dealer?

That’s a much more appealing price. $4800 retail is asking a lot for a Surly that doesn’t have any bags and a smaller battery than others.
