Tapia’s Pizza and Grill on Howard. The food came 45 minutes late but was piping hot. The pan pizza was dry and terrible.

Even the pizza on their front page looks like garbage cheese and cheap tomatoes.

Can confirm this place is terrible. Try Eastern Style on Touhy. Its our go to every Friday. Its inbetween pan and tavern style. Greek owners can come off a little rude but the pizza makes up for it.

i dunno if this qualifies as a DEALS DEALS DEALS but i just bought four brand new blizzaks on tirerack for $116 each. in a pretty small size, but nevertheless, that is pretty damn cheap.
i guess inflation and supply chain issues haven’t affected tires? maybe because it’s february and i’m buying snow tires? idk

If you can actually buy them it’s a deal to you.

I looked for snow tires there a month ago and pickings were SLIM, same for wheels.

AT truck tires aren’t substantially more than they were a year or two ago ($225-250/ea), which just says to me they have a large margin probably or the mfrs haven’t hiked the prices yet

tire rack is owned by discount tire now

bunch of stuff on sale including Vuori, pata, howler bros

home despot is for some reason doing sales on tool + battery collabos
i had a battery die (it made it 5 years which is quite good)
it’s dramatically cheaper to buy a tool + battery than just the bare battery, which i find quite amusing
so i guess i’m getting this:

Dang, I paid $13 last month, like a chump.

Problem being that many combos include the shittiest version of the tool or a mediocre battery, 4AH vs. 5AH for example.

That said, I recently got a deal on the new yellow impact driver with the new prismatic battery. Both are badass.

i don’t think my needs are super extreme although i will say that my current car’s wheel nut torque spec is 150 ft/lb and my ryobi impact can’t get it off, so i’m hoping this new one that says it does 300 can do it

Oh, I have no specific complaints about that combo, just that caveat emptor. On the surface, two 4AH batteries and a mid-torque impact for $150 is a good deal.
