I suppose Iād ask ritchey as well as to what it should be used on.
Also I messaged you about the unicorn if you want to sell itā¦
Some dorks shitty fatbike.
Googled it. Super Chinese.
Why shitty though
Itās just an elaborate walmart bicycle shaped object.
The super-padded saddle isnāt exactly a vote of confidence for the suspension on that thing, and once you take the suspension away itās just a heavy (and probably sloppily riding, because the āsuspensionā is still there introducing planing into the ride) fatbike. And also if they cheap on the suspension theyāre likely to have cheaped on every other component they could.
Are you in Bend right now? Ping me.
Dq: 18/24/32 x 32/44
Will this be shiftable?
Why not? The spacing between gears isnāt that bad; I get
| 44 32
-------+----------------
18| 59 43
24| 44 32
32| 33 24
As gear inches; thereās nothing thatās an insanely long jump, itās just that the cogs start at what would be 3/4ths of the way up a regular cassette (and no I donāt know why the table has some of the entries in blue.)
I guess Iām wondering about 6-8t jumps. I havenāt seen that done.
You donāt see that very much these days, but there are 5-speed alpine freewheels floating around with super-wide gearing (Iāve seen 14, 18, 23, 30, 38 listed on ebay, which might be a typo but if not your gearing is no problem at all) and some of the 6 & 7 speed megarange⢠freewheels have a 24->34 jump.
Thats a good point. Forgot about those mega ranges. Hmm maybe Iāll do it.
Shitty folding fat bike from the looks of it
Whoo, good thing that Ritchey bar is hilariously expensive, or Iād be jamming it on my P29er.
Kk thank you, I was trying to understand. It reminded me of Transformers somehow
I wonder if an oldschool dangler with parallel cage and offset top pulley would work better than a slant type for the 3sp megarange
Yeah I was thinking 9spd or even 8 cuz why not
Letās talk Ultra Torque.
How bad is it to space the NDS arm out a few mm? Iād pull the bearing, spacer behind bearing and reinstall.
Wonāt that reduce the hirth joint engagement considerably? Like, enough to not have it engaged.

If your (eng) shell is less than 68.8mm, you could shim it up to that safely.
