Can’t do blind drifts with a vise.
True, I have a couple of drifts for that, but the post was long enough as it was.
Anyone here make bags? Or have a suggestion for someone who does? I’m after a big xpac roll top to fit into a Wald 1275/Giant Delivery
Yeah, me too. Let me know if you find anyone cool.
I met the dude from outershell and he’s cool
I’m kinda over the jones bars on my bullitt, they’ve just never been as comfy as I want them to be and the angle seems to exacerbate a nerve issue in my shoulder/neck/upper back. My current comfiest handlebar setup are the VO klunker bars on my wolverine. I’m hesitant to put the same bars on two bikes but they really are comfy on the soma. I don’t like really wide bars, especially on the bullitt which requires a very light steering imput.
Should I:
- VO Klunkers
- VO Granola
- Albatross
- Partsbin Noirette
- Something Else
The angle on the Klunkers and Jones is the same so maybe it’s something else about the setup. What width are your Jones bars?
My Jones bars are 650mm, I think.
OK, VO’s having a sale. I’m buying a pair of klunkers AND a pair of granolas!
We’ll see which I like best!
That’s the way to do it!
That’s what I did!
is this worth $400?
2014ish camber comp, bb30
mismatched wheels in ok condition, needs new tires and sealant, the elixir rear brake needs pads and prolly a bleed.
That seems reasonable for a Jones that is squishy. You’re probably looking at another $500 for a suspension rebuild, too.
Let’s say I have an inbound rando/pavement frame incoming and two nearly identical group sets, which would you use to build the frame and which would you put on ice?
Group 1: 9100 series di2 with oversized pulley rear mech
Group 2: 8000 series di2 with normal/regular dangler
Basically, blingy rando bike now(soon) or blingy road bike at an unplanned later time
what’s getting the miles? 9100 on a rando bike is nice
Hmm, given the rando frame (mostly) exists and the other is purely hypothetical, I guess the rando will get more miles
A month ago I said that my partner got a bike fit in Seattle and a bunch of people asked if it was from one specific person who was also a PT. Can someone remind me of who that was?
Not sure if it’s me, I was asking if it was Kari Studley at Corpore Sano.
Eric Moen at Corpore Sano in Kenmore? They sponsored my old team so I got a fit from him; found it useful. I follow them on social media and their Kenmore location is closing and becoming an Eric Moen solo practice.
