Big Apple might not come down to 45 but you could do Big Ben x Big Apple
both good suggestions, thank you.
An abundance of Marathon varietals probably.
Possibly the Kenda Small Block 8 (runs narrow so the 29x1.9 might work).
is a pannier compatible minivelo that accepts a rear kid seat a thing? thinking about something with a shorter overall length to fit in tiny elevators that can still handle school drop-off and market trips
Not sure what else is available in Euroland. The Tern Quick Haul or HSD would be looking at. Both can be vertically parked and rolled as demoed in the respective owner briefing videos from Tern (check the description for timestamps for that).
Thereās also some other info on their site about carrying stuff/people on each model. Both are compatible with their cargo hold 28 and 37 panniers. The 37s seem to be used as a combo foot protection pannier and I think the 28s can probably be mounted back further to clear a child seat.

As a new discounted Quick Haul owner, ask me anything. Really liking it so far.
Sup. Been a minute. What did I miss?
Iāve seen a couple of the bigger Terns here, I got a wild hair because I saw someone riding what looked like a Neutrino the other day and it would be substantially easier to fit that in my elevatorā this is a good place to start!
The max gross weight differs between them which might make a difference for you. The HSD is like 5 kg heavier, but rated for 30 kg more than the Quick Haul.
The HSD may also take more kg out of your wallet.
well Iām cross shopping against a R&M Carrie⦠which I am very interested in but havenāt found a shop locally that has them to test, and Iām fairly certain it would have to be stood diagonally or vertically in the lift
I mean a lot.
That looks like a very cool bike. Getting that vertical in some form could be fun, like watching some of Russā/PLP videos when he was getting the Omnium and Monopole bikes into the tiny elevator at their place in Spain.
I havenāt seen overall dimensions on Ternās site for either of those models. My Quick Haul measures at 67.5" / 171.5cm overall length (front tire to end or rear rack).
The Tern Vektron might be worth looking at. Itās more smol but has much lower ratings for the rear rack and max gross weight.
an entire global pandemic came and went in the time you were gone
the naterod thread is about frogs now, so you should get in there and post some smang updates
Or frog updates.
Whatever ya got.
Hoo boy. I wouldnāt know where to start. But glad the frogs took over. Going to have to read through and see where the transition happened.
is there an alternate/better option than salsa anything cage for fork leg mounting for lite bikepack use?
