Did you just ShartQ?

Has anyone used a Tektro Power Hanger? Seems like a cool gizmo that might work for my Kogswell that doesn’t seem to fit traditional canti hangers.

I had an Odessey (?) version on the steel fork than came with my M2 in 1993. fiddley to set up but then they invented V brakes. it may still be in the box somewhere. I still ride the fork regularly.

I’ve never used anything like that but I love a Good Contraption

The fork mounted hanger that I have won’t work for you?

Yeah it probably will, and it even matches the finish of the woodman headset I’ve got coming. I’ll text you about it.
That Tektro gizmo is so cool, I might buy one anyway. Seems long out of production and it ain’t cheap.

Cannondale Force 40 hanger is similar and worth keeping an eye out for too. No idea how well they work I have not personally used one.

Here’s a Tektro that doesn’t seem to dear?

Looks like Trek made or licensed that kind of thing too.

In general if you have a Co-op or crusty older shop or mechanic nearby I’d bet they have one in one of those little clear plastic parts drawer trays along with a bunch of other random housing stops and hangers and stuff.

Was about to reply to Rudy ‘you still have a kogswell!?’, but now I have to change that to ‘both of you have kogswells!?’

Dang that may be a good solution for my old tandem that has a terrible cable routing angle from the top tube stop to the rear bridge and almost no vertical clearance for a hanger. I need to find me one

gah I wish. waiting on a handlebar and have a new old fop bike to share (700c).

I definitely have one or two of these in my parts bin. If people get desperate it could be posted to US, but postage is probably more than it’s worth

I was selling Cannondales in the Force 40 years and the nautiloid cam versions worked well.

I feel your pain.

I thought the solution to this problem was V brakes (which will conveniently fix other problems too  )

I had the bright idea to utilize the fork shoulder brazeons so I commissioned @orc to build me a rack. She built a beautiful rack but I failed to mention that I was using V brakes and the rack interferes with the movement of the brake arm by like .5mm

The pro move would be to add a canti hanger to the rack tombstone but flexi noodle is more my speed. Think this is too tight a bend? Probably.

The best justification of canti brakes I’ve ever seen - carry on

What about a stem with a hole in it? Do they make those in threadlessways?
