Off the bar with no cable. Threading a cable and pulling with my hand gets closer but the upshift is sloppy, the ratcheting carrier slips about 5mm before continuing smoothly. At least it doesn’t seem to be binding anymore.
Wheel on the ground, jumping on the tire with both feet. Sometimes it do be that way.
i have a ton of atacs- i am a time guy for like 13 years now. the HT looked kinda like an atac/spd crossover and looked interesting. i forget how i wound up with one pair but realistically the last thing i need is to want to buy a whole grip of new pedals to replace perfectly good ATACs…
dq what are these?
Looks like some ebike wheels, might be 150/197(?) OLD.
The Tiagra group on my cross bike is having a tough time of it. Dropping the chain is an issue. Pretty sure I’ve broken some stuff in the right brifter. Thinking of trying to upgrade in the least expensive way.
Currently have 10s Tiagra, hydro with slx calipers, not flat mount, wheels are 135 QR, HG free hub.
Would like to be under $1200, a clutch derailer. Electronic would be neat.
What out there would still work? Could I get one of the Rotor Uno groups?
Would these GRX 11s levers work with the slx brakes already on the bike?
Coming in hot with another Shimano compatibility question. Local guy is selling a set of ST-R7120 levers (2x12 105). They look like new and he’s asking $250. I’m looking a this as a long term dither, is there broad brake caliper and FD compatibility with these? I guess I want to know if I they will shift a 46/30 compatible pusher and work with downspec (ie cheaper) brake calipers.
which bike brand makes you roll your eyes harder, Kyoot or Btchn?
These guys seem like total boneheads.
its good practice to be cautious around anyone who willingly collabs with Peter Verdon’t.
Btchn by far.
Kyoot is sort of corny in a purposeful way but they’re solid.
i did not ask about the integrity of the company. we are talking about stupid brand names.
ill take either of those over any of these reeb model names
Sqweeb?
ReDikyelous?
Donkadonk?
the sam’s pants?
i feel like a 5 year old could pick better bike names
All these were brought to you by people who watch Rick & Morty as adults and think it has redeeming philosophical value.
is all on brand for Beer Backwards Bicycles.
Phil from Kyoot said that early on someone called his minivelo cute and he used the phonetic spelling of cute for the brand name. He said the people making the frames in Taiwan were able to pronounce it correctly the first try.
holy shit ya don’t say.
You said “brand” ![]()
Btchn is still worse.
oh, going back now im reading that i didnt specify name, only brand. my bad. i’ll arm foldsy myself.
Kyoot is still a stupid fucking name.
