I’d say it depends on how steep your trails are going to get. I don’t like riding my XC bike with a 68deg HT down super steep stuff, because it makes me feel like I’m going to go over the bars. I know nothing about the riding in NM, though.
Like all newer bikes, the 2025 Stumpy is longer and slacker in the HT and steeper in the ST:
I’m not looking for colorful MTBro gear, I just want a pair of bright green or orange five pocket pants made out of durable, stretchy canvas that I can ride around town in and do city stuff.
Adding to two weeks ago’s King conversation to note that I will be installing the one that @featherduster is sending me upside down for nostalgia’s sake
Kinlin XR31T is a very nice rim for 20h. Stiff, round, and wears very well. November Bicycles posted some aero stuff to that makes it seem pretty good there too.
Has anyone uploaded independent results to crossresults/gravel-results.com?
I have several dozen gravel race result files going back a decade or so I’d like to upload. If anyone’s done the process before and has anything to share that would be cool. Seems simple enough I guess:
Cannondale had a run of road frames in the mid 2010’s that were 1.25 taper. I bought a SuperSix frame not knowing this.
I ended up getting some Chinacarbon fork off of eBay. The choices were pretty slim. You might be able to find something on the used market, but fender eyelets will not be an option.
SQ has anybody ever downloaded the archive of their strava activity? I have been recording on my phone for years and only recently considered maybe I should keep a local copy of all that data. I’m also a little concerned it would be a stupidly large download. My stats say I’ve got around 23k miles over 3500 activities, does anybody know about how big that would be?
