Did you just ShartQ?

Been awhile since I’ve had to deal with shimano compatibility issues but…

I’ve a FH-M8010 rear hub, it’s 11 HG MTN.

I’m trying to thread on a Y3EX98030 freehub body that came off an 11 HG Road hub, as soon as it’s threaded into the FH-M8010 rear hub it’s tight and doesn’t spin freely. Can someone remind me of the 11 HG MTN compatibility with road cassettes.

Thought I could swap out the shimano freehub bodies

Trying to run an 11-34 Road cassette on the hub :expressionless_face:

11hg mtn = 10hg road
11hg road = 12hg road
12 mtn = ms

CS-HG700-11 Is the only 11sp rd cassette that will work with a 11hg mtn, and is coincidentally 11-34

SKS or PB would be fine but you know the real answer already:

Trying to keep it cheap since this bike will live in the bike room at a university.

Did Velo Orange ever make the crazy bars with 0 rise and no branding? i think i got ripped off on a craigslist deal.

I gave up and used the PB ones I had in the shed and some random bits and bobs to space the stays out to not interfere with the brake.

looks almost like this ali copy, but different: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256809749947940.html

(lol that most of the product pictures show it upside-down)

SQ let’s say I wanted to make a little hardpack dirt loop around my backyard for my daughter to bike around on. Seems like the best way would be to just ride on it but I don’t know how long that would take. Are there any trailbuilding shortcuts to this?

A square nose shovel slapped on the dirt like a beaver tail or tamper would speed up the process. Depending on your soil, you might want to amend it with gravel or topsoil for better traction.

Could be Koga Denhams?
