What are those magnetic bag connectors? Would those work on a (pelican case) to a metal rack?
Fidlock. Wouldn’t work like fidlock part on the pelican → mating to bare rack tube.
But you could design a clasp or hook or other fastener which i tegrated a magnet specifically for bare rack tubes. Or one half of the typical fidlock clasp so that it clamps to rack tube or a baseplate or whatever.
I can drill into the pelican. It’s mine now.
I have another system in mind tho hold on
Which bleed kit is best for road brakes? I have Shimano ultegra di2 and sram Apex and also some other random stuff that I’m not sure is mineral or DOT.
Can I get this park one and be done with it?
Shimano is mineral, sram apex and other road stuff is still mineral for the time being. SRAM only recently went full into mineral for mtb brakes.
SRAM Road stuff still definitely on DOT fluid
I don’t know how big of a pain it is to clean out a bleed kit, but you should do that if you’re using one kit for both fluids.
Hmm, that Park kit looks interesting to me given I have bikes with Shimano, Tektro, and Magura brakes. May have to consume if it qualifies for the 20% off during their next sale.
Does anyone have any actual experience with an eccentric t47 bb?
you definitely want separate bleed kits for each fluid
Eww
Data from Star Trek lookin ass
I remember a saying, ‘when you get older, to look good, you solve for your ass, or your face.’
He definitely didn’t choose his face.
Would it be really dumb to buy a used carbon fork that is missing the through axle? I assume it was an OEM fork but the only markings I could find:
Bob could be your uncle, if you know what bike it came off of:
Otherwise, you’ll need to measure the thread pitch and then talk to Robert.
they usually have it marked by the axle hole
what did you call me
axle hole!
I miss blogs and search results. Nobody writes anything outside of micro-niche internet spaces that are impossible to find. Is the Crust Evasion Lite a good bike?
