I have a whole lot of less offensive handlebars that I could have chosen from but them ugly Fleegles just spoke to me. Figured that you of all people would understand.

Nah, that was from the “Sky Yaeger does interesting things at Bianchi that don’t involve celeste” era.

Bianchi could probalby just reissue every Sky Yaeger bike with updated axle standards/wheel sizes and suddenly become relevant again. But they won’t.

…the bike has mechanical disc brakes. These seem like problems to solve concurrently.I’d ideally get pre bled 10sp shifters and calipers. Which ones? I understand there have been some changes wrt speed and pull ratios, spacing etc.I could buy a new der and/or cassette if necessary but would like to avoid; would need two cassettes if I went this route since I swap between the back wheel and a trainer.

Wish I had a better answer than just “go to a shop and get a GRX 10s group”.

Or maybe microshift? Not gonna be hydro though.

They told me the 2001 Cross-Check was too far back in the catalog, and they weren’t really using RALs at that point anyway. Guess I’ll have to find one in the wild and figure out a way to get it copied.

Yeah, they must have grabbed a random photo. The side view photo has the Natch steel label on the down tube, while the green bean would have had Reynolds 631(?) labels on the seat tube.
