At this rate I’m going to have to buy a 3d printer. The library is too slow.
I love em for an upper decaleur, but on the bottom it adds stack height that makes the bag “float” above the rack, I just can’t get into that

Arigato
i remember this conversation happening mildly recently on oldtarck
what sweptback upright bars are thinking these days for an old road bike?
i threw albatross on girlspag’s mtn bike clunker (and i really like them) but is that what i want on an old trek? porteur bars are dumb. i just want to sit upright with a thumb shifter and go to the bars
WOAH
Seriously the person that designed this needs to have a gofundme link or something because resources like this need to be maintained and exist indefinitely.
There are already way more bar choices up from the last time I checked. bravo
Holy crap, whomever made that needs to be on tarck
I like Kalloy Tourist (dirt cheap)
and Ahearne-MAP bars
Listen to this guy.
I have the Nitto Jitensha bar on my PR and it’s OK, but a bit narrow for my tastes.
Guys, observe what happens when you click on the crust towel rack.
someone email the address at the bottom and invite them to join
ordering the kalloy bars if i don’t find some at a swap this weekend. those look rad
Are there any upright bars that dont suck for 20+ miles? I dont want to use drop bars anymore on this bike i here have
Any bars could be fine/not fine for hours of riding…a lot of that comfort depends on you and your position on the bike.
I do comfy >4h rides on them Kalloy Tourists, and whatever things came on my XC bike.
This is what I want, yes?
those
whatbars is a jdgesus joke name for crust bars (see the #whatbars hashtag on instagram) so whoever made that probably already knows about tarck
You know that Bicycle Counter Culture Slack? A dude on there started it.
BCC is like tarck-lite or diet tarck. The main difference is that all those dudes think Klampers are holy grail brakes, but overall it’s a nice group of people with relatively good taste. It was started by @Hobocross who is an all around good dude in my experience. @jdgesus posts there occasionally and he gave the url to the guy who started it. Chip Martens I think is his name.
Also I get a big kick out of referring to non-tarck bike people as @(Instagram handle)
well there you go
So do you have to request a login for their Slack Workspace?
Slack’s login style / multiple passwords confuses me so much
