Did you just ShartQ?

Who has a jones here?

What size frame?
what is the headtube length (inside hs cups/outside hs cups)?

Wahoo Elemnt Bolt V2 is “best in class”

Edge 130 is cheaper and probably fine. Wahoo is $300, the 130 Plus is $200. I’d go the extra $100. That buys you better usability, specifically the app is way nicer to use, easier to configure screens and such. Navigation isn’t a PITA either.

It even does navigation reasonably well.

appreciate the feedback but it looks like wahoo doesn’t allow 3rd party apps, so i can’t display Xert metrics in real time. also, i prefer the smaller size of the garmin. gonna use my mom’s costco membership to get a good deal on this thing. thanks all!

the karoo thing looks cool but it’s four hundred dollars

Wahoo is actually complete garbage now. My Bolt stopped charging. My buddy’s v2 kept on showing wrong elevation and the rma unit did the same , then Completely bricked, and then the new one he didn’t even bother running and sold. and then wahoo’s CS is abysmal. Anyways read about it here

I bought a 130 and it works well

Not the same class of product and I don’t know about a good navigation app for it because the native maps feature is trash… but Apple Watch is great for tracking metrics. I love it because my riding style these days is all centric to my aging heart which it seems to do a great job of tracking HR.

during an 8 hour session I don’t use more than 50% battery while also taking phone calls, sending texts and juggling Spotify…

But Heath says Wahoo is best in class

I thought @heath was all about Karoo?

I’m thinking about grabbing a Redshift suspension stem to go with the post I got from Faxmachine last year. This is on my “camping” bike that has a Ritchey Kyote handlebar. Is there any reason I shouldn’t use such a stem with a super wide bar, like too much leverage on the pivot or something?

I have the Karoo 2 (used a coupon to get 20% off last year). Compared to the $400 Garmin or Wahoo Roam it’s very competitive. Gets solid software updates every 2 weeks, the navigation/maps are pretty great, and it easily has the best screen in its class. I do miss the helper app that Wahoo uses to configure screens on he computer.

Remind me to measure mine (size medium). Note that the diamond and space frames in the same size have different headtube lengths.

I thought there was just one size Jones

Nah he finally caved to Big Diversity and acknowledged that there are people that aren’t a 5’10" man with a beard.

feeding frenzy commence

What size and what’s the headtube length

It is the old uni size, QR dropouts and all. Steel spaceframe. Got a fat front wheel with a Paul hub and a 29er Velocity Pacenti P35 wheelset, Revelate panniers and frame bag in camo.

Wish I was a 5’ 10" man with a beard and not several inches taller with a beard :frowning:

I think Mr Jones is taller than 5’10"

I want to follow through with what will probably be a regrettable decision to try an XC bike in its place.

I would take 5’-10" and a better beard
