I don’t know if this will work for droplets but a quick way to get a hydrophobic coating is to spit on your glasses and then wipe lightly. You can also use a little tiny spot of detergent, I mean really tiny, and smear it without wiping
Oh I have not tried this, but what about a little RainX
Regular Rain-X will damage plastic/poly eyeglass lenses both by causing the coating(s) to flake off/rub off and by causing the lenses to delaminate. I did this to my eyeglass lenses before I knew better like a decade ago. There’s a formulation for plastic windshields but I don’t know if they make anything specifically for eyeglasses.
That’s sort of what I’m thinking. Like if it were mine I’d fucking send it. Definitely has been neglected for a bit. I’m still sort of leaning towards maybe doing that but no yeah I for sure understand that
I’d be a bit nervous about the pitting around those holes. If it was mine, I’d be lopping off and replacing those chainstays, but that’s a somewhat more involved repair than a repaint.
I like the idea of you seeding Chicago with taters by launching them out of a tater gun.
The ladies at the garden said that taters are the number one favorite crop of the under 6 crowd. Something about digging in the dirt.
as someone who has never planted potatoes, this looks like a dad playing a joke on their kid. much like how asparagus grows like someone is trying to trick you into thinking that’s how asparagus grows.
